A Little About Me

Howdy! My name is Stacey Tejeda and I teach Second Grade in San Antonio, Texas. I'm originally from Connecticut, but moved to Texas to attend Texas A&M University in College Station. Whoop! While there, I met my wonderful husband and I've been a Texan ever since.  

We moved to San Antonio, and I graduated from St. Mary's University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Education with a concentration in Reading . In  2003, I received my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Specialization in Technology Integration from Houston Baptist University through the PAVE program in Northside ISD.

This is my 13th year of teaching. I've taught 3rd, 1st, and now 2nd grade. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and can not imagine any other career. Every year is an adventure! Add to that the joys of being a mother to 3 beautiful daughters and life is great!

Blogging is my next big adventure and I'm looking forward to sharing this roller coaster ride with you :)
